In Hungary and the German Democratic Republic, two socialist states with strong industrial urbanized and cultural traditions, I could not, unfortunately, find stories interesting enough to be presentd in this anthology, though at least in East Germany there are some passable SF novels and in the case of Hungary I was admittedly hampered by being able to read only translations. The only difficulty with copyrights I experienced, paradoxically, in my own country, Yugoslavia - nemo prophetia in patria - where two writers modestly refused permission for translations of their stories.
