Dan O'Bannon RIP

Daniel Thomas O'Bannon (September 30, 1946 - December 17, 2009) was a motion picture screenwriter, director and occasional actor, usually in the science fiction and horror genres. O'Bannon died in Los Angeles on December 17, 2009.

1995 Screamers - writer

O'Bannon is the writer of the influential story "The Long Tomorrow", illustrated by Jean Giraud. This particular piece is the main graphical influence on Blade Runner.
